Here in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, we're closer to French bistronomy than Japanese cuisine. It's technical, rather good and refined, bordering on precious when too many little flowers frolic in the plate. At lunchtime, a friendly bento in nine small plates: duck breast with honey sauce, turbot escabeche... and dorayaki with red bean compote for dessert.
